Legal Clinic Information

  • The Legal Aid Clinic is sponsored by Ventura County Legal Aid, Inc. More information on the Clinic, including information on volunteering, is on their website at vclegalaid.org

  • The Clinic occurs twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, from 4-7pm, with the last intake at 6:15pm. You must arrive before 6:15pm to be seen. PLEASE NOTE: The clinic will be taking a break for the summer after Jun. 5th, but it will return on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018. Click here to see the flyer.

  • The Law Library is the host of the event, and can be contacted for general details, but no one can be given legal advice over the phone.

  • The attorneys at the clinic cannot provide direct representation but can give referrals to other resources.

  • Please note that you must be a resident of Ventura County. For grant purposes, we can only assist those earning these income levels before taxes or below:
    1 person/$2043; 2 people/$2337; 3 people/$2628; 4 people/$2918; 5 people/$3153; 6 people/$3387;
    7 people/$3621; 8 people/$3853

    Or you are eligible for Supplemental Security Income or free services under the Older Americans Act or Developmentally Disabled Assistance Act.
